Environmentally conscious, 2-Day Designs uses recycled, antique lumber and recycled wine barrels whenever possible. These designs make a statement anywhere. Each piece is crafted in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia using the highest quality standards from start to finish.
Almost 20 years ago, 2 Day got its start producing small accents and occasional tables from reclaimed lumber. The majority of the lumber used was taken from the old Sears Catalogue Distribution Center in Atlanta Georgia. Unfortunately, this lumber was exhausted. Still eager to continue reclaiming and recycling, 2-Day Designs developed the Wine 2 Night! Collection. Some 800,000 oak wine barrels are produced annually, many of them ending up as garden planters or simply destroyed.
Over the years 2-Day Designs has saved almost 15,000 barrels from the landfills and gardens. From wine racks to bistrol tables, 2-Day has developed 50 plus items for this collection. Many of the products are branded with the vineyard handling markings as they were used in wine production. |
