Our Beginnings
A Kansas girl follows her husband to Germany where he serves in the Army. In 1984, they return to Kansas to open a store featuring Shaker-style furniture. Quality solid wood antique reproductions made by Amish and Mennonite craftsmen and women from West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
From small acorns come tall oak trees.
Since then we have expanded to carry the best in quality and price. Stickley, Century, Sherrill, Vanguard, Nichols & Stone, Hancock and Moore, and Gat Creek.

Shipping on small items by Fedex, UPS, or US postal service. Shipping is free in the continental US on most items. Shipping is 7 - 9 days on in-stock items, but times may vary. Larger furniture items from 2-Day Designs require additional shipping charges and shipping times.

Why Wichita?
A hometown Kansas girl and an Army brat make a wonderful combination. The couple soon married and left. He to serve in the Army, the happy pair stationed for three wonderful years in Germany, then Virginia for a spell, but, like Dorothy and Toto, coming back home to Kansas.
In College Hill, with friends and family, the wandering couple stopped and set up shop.
